Mt. Lassen Theatre's Steering Committee is joining a host of small towns across the country seeking to save and restore historic downtown theatres like the old Chester Theatre.  You can help with the renovation by clicking HERE.  When the theatre is fully renovated, we will offer an expanded venue of movies, dramas, and concerts.   Annual community auditions will be held for quarterly dramas that will entertain and inspire audiences of all ages. For warm summer nights, we hope the renovation includes a north wall (on the park side) that can open to expose a stage around which the audience can sit in the round, viewing it from either in the theatre or sitting in the park
