A Host Home program affords the opportunity for a person with a disability to choose to live with an individual, couple, or a family in the community to share their life experiences together. The individual thus becomes a valued member of the home/family and develops permanent relationships that then help that individual grow and develop. The family receives a monthly stipend plus room and board for supporting the individual with disabilities in their home. Chariton Valley professional management staff oversees services, ensures compliance with state and federal guidelines, and provides on-going support to the family and individual(s).
