Emergency Room Enhancement (ERE) is a program which was developed out of a need for effective intervention for individuals with multiple/complex needs. Our ERE Team assist adults who are experiencing mental health distress with the goal of developing long term supports and resources for them.

Services will be provided in a timely manner to determine eligibility and effectively connect individuals to behavioral health and other supportive services. Outreach engagement may also include assistance with transportation, access to an observation bed for short term or one time medication assistance upon approval.

Community partners including mental health professionals, substance abuse treatment providers, law enforcement, primary care physicians, hospitals and other community agencies work together to link persons in need with appropriate services. The ERE program is available to eligible adults who live in the northeast Missouri counties of Adair, Clark, Knox, Lewis, Macon, Marion, Schuyler, Scotland and Shelby.
