A breast biopsy is a surgical procedure for collecting abnormal tissue samples from the breast through one small incision. It replaces a painful and invasive procedure. 

S.S. White Flexible Shafts transmit rotary motion from the mechanical consoles to the biopsy probes. Within the probe, the Flexible Shaft drives a biopsy needle actuator that performs the collection of tissue.
