We are here to provide care & comfort to patients, family, and friends during the final stages of life. When there is not a cure or the cures are exhausted, our hospice program strives to make our patients remaining time with us as comfortable and as meaningful as possible. This may mean pain relief and nursing care, but also includes emotional support and help with everyday tasks. We provide a range of in-home hospice services including nursing, bereavement, social work, hospice aide, volunteers, and spiritual support.
The Three Amigas... Amiee, Jaime, and Laura started on this journey in 2018 after working in the field and seeing what an amazing benefit hospice has. Hospice does not just pertain to the patient but also the family, friends, caregivers and all who know the patient. We are three nurses with great clinical backgrounds. Jaime and Laura both did critical care situations for a number of years and has seen it all!
The three of us have such different unique qualities that fit together just like a puzzle. It was hard to pass up the opportunity as it unfolded right in front of us. Amiee is the perfect paperwork gal. We love to tease her about how perfect everything is that she touches. When there is something to be organized or attended to it is Amiee to the rescue. Jaime is a natural friend. She is the one who can go into a room of strangers and come out with lots of new friends. Laura is the clinical guru. Knowing and understanding all of the Medicare guidelines and regulations is her niche and boy is she good at it.
