Citrus College is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges, Western Association of Schools and Colleges, 10 Commercial Blvd., Suite 204, Novato, CA 94949, (415) 506-0234, an institutional accrediting body recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation and the U.S. Department of Education. Additional information about accreditation, include the filing of complaints against member institutions, can be found at www.accjc.org

Each college affiliated with ACCJC must undergo periodic evaluation of their programs and services through self-study and peer review in a seven-year cycle. Citrus received reaffirmation of its accreditation in February 2016. The Commission accepted the Citrus College Follow-Up Report in June 2017 and acted to reaffirm accreditation for the remainder of the six-year cycle. The next report from Citrus College is the Midterm Report due in fall 2018.
