Dr. Mary Dau is a licensed Therapeutic Optometrist and certified Texas Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. Dr. Dau graduated from Houston Baptist University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management. She received her Doctor of Optometry from the University of The Incarnate Word Rosenberg School of Optometry in San Antonio, Texas.
Dr. Dau completed an additional optometric residency in Ocular Diseases and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Vision Rehabilitation at the Audie L. Murphy Memorial VA Hospital in San Antonio. Dr. Dau worked as a Senior Clinical Instructor at
Rosenberg School of Optometry, staff optometrist at Kerrville VA Medical Center and various private practices before moving home to start her dream private practice. She is a member of the American Optometric Association, Texas Optometric Association, and Harris Country Optometric Society.
Dr. Dau interests include specialty contact lenses for keratoconus, myopia control, dry eyes, and management of ocular diseases including diabetes, glaucoma, and cataracts.
Dr. Dau enjoys trying new restaurants around the Houston area and spending time spoiling her rescued Chihuahua Bosco.
