Welcome To

First Presbyterian Church

At First Presbyterian Church we are connected with presbyterians throughout the world. The Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) is the denominational umbrella under which more than 11,000 congregations unite in mission and ministry.

Adherence to Reformed theology and a form of government that emphasizes shared leadership and participation between ministers and lay leaders mark the distinctive characteristics of the Presbyterian church.

People of all ages, from many different cultures and practicing various worship styles, make up the membership of the PC(USA). We find our unity in Gods love, our shared calling to serve Christ in the world, and in achieving the Great Ends of the Church: The proclamation of the Gospel for the salvation of humankind; the shelter, nurture, and spiritual fellowship of the children of God; the maintenance of divine worship; the preservation of the truth; the promotion of righteousness; and the exhibition of the Kingdom of Heaven to the world (The Book of Order, F-1.0304).
