A CELEBRATION OF BIRDS!
A hands-on, outdoor experience for Girl Scouts.  Activities include songbird banding research and migration studies, an exploration hike in the Magee Marsh Wildlife Area, and sensory activities to gain a heightened understanding of adaptations and bird behavior. The day’s activities help foster stronger scientific literacy and a greater appreciation for the natural world. This is a great extension of the “It’s Your Planet–Love It!” Journey series and can be tailored to meet specific badge requirements.
