PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Project management is the most important aspect of any project in order to successfully implement project specifications, control project cost, manage changing scope of work (often initiated by the owner), and dispute resolution. Key items of SRI’s project management include, but are not limited to, the following:

Services:

  • WEEKLY OR BI-WEEKLY PROGRESS MEETINGS WITH THE CONTRACTOR AND OWNER’S REPRESENTATIVE. ISSUING REPORTS OF THE MEETINGS SUMMARIZING STATUS OF THE WORK AND ANY MAJOR ISSUES THAT MUST BE RESOLVED.
  • IDENTIFYING REPAIR AREAS, CONDUCTING INSPECTIONS OF REPAIRS, MATERIALS, PROCEDURES, REPAIR QUANTITIES AND QUALITY OF WORK.
  • REVIEWING, COMMENTING AND APPROVING CONTRACTOR SUBMITTALS.
  • TRACKING THE PROJECT SCHEDULE WITH CONTRACTOR.
  • TRACKING THE QUANTITY OF ALL COMPLETED WORK.
  • REVIEWING AND CERTIFYING CONTRACTOR PAYMENT APPLICATIONS.
  • SERVING AS A LIAISON BETWEEN THE OWNER AND THE CONTRACTOR.
  • RESOLVING PROBLEMS AS THEY ARISE DURING CONSTRUCTION.
  • REVIEWING ANY REQUIRED CHANGE ORDERS AND ADVISING THE OWNER.
  • INTEGRATING OWNER INITIATED CHANGES TO THE SCOPE OF WORK, RE-EVALUATING PROJECT COST, ISSUING REVISED DRAWINGS, SPECIFICATIONS, AND NECESSARY PERMIT CHANGES.
