Corporate Volunteer Spotlight!

Wells Fargo

Since June of 2017, new hire classes from Wells Fargo have been coming to United Way to volunteer and learn about our community. Prior to volunteering, the employees run a basic needs drive and donate the items to United Way’s Basic Needs Pantry. Once at United Way, volunteers help with a variety of projects, including stocking and organizing the pantry, cleaning books, and setting up for special events! In the last six month, nearly 180 volunteers from Wells Fargo have support United Way’s work! Thank you, Wells Fargo!

"I've been involved with United Way of Treasure Valley through the Idaho Statesman's workplace campaign for well over 10 years. I was really happy when the Women United Affinity group was formed. I found the perfect opportunity to support the community through this dedicated organization. Women United has allowed me to volunteer my time in a number of ways. I serve on the board with some wonderful women, but most important are the activities we do to support our School Pantry project throughout the year. Supporting United Way and Women United gives me other opportunities to give back to the community."
