Authorized Limited Cirrus Service Center

Estherville Aviation is a Cirrus Limited Service Center. This certification allows us to perform warranty work on Cirrus aircraft and purchase parts directly from the factory. The limited status is due to the low number of Cirrus aircraft in the area; however we have the same training and tools to maintain these aircraft as a larger shop. Iowa Lakes Community College’s flight training program was the first college in the United States to purchase a Cirrus SR-20 for its flight program. This necessitated us becoming a Service Center. Since then, other local customers have purchased Cirrus aircraft and we have numerous SR-20s and -22s on which we perform maintenance. We are authorized and have experience servicing and performing maintenance on the CAPS system, including changing line cutters, parachutes and rocket motors.

Since Iowa Lakes Community College is a Cirrus Certified Flight Training Center, they have CSIP instructors that are able to give transition training in your Cirrus aircraft, or you can rent their SR-20.
