Mammography/Breast Imaging

Southern Arizona Radiology Associates offers comprehensive mammography and breast imaging services. Upon arrival, patients are provided with a hospital gown to change into before the procedure. During the mammogram, breasts are gently compressed between two plates to capture high-quality images. Each breast is examined individually, with patients briefly holding their breath during image capture. There is no downtime or recovery required, allowing patients to resume normal activities immediately. Dedicated radiologists review the images and report the results to the healthcare team. Southern Arizona Radiology Associates also provides ultrasounds and breast MRI in addition to mammograms, and patients can conveniently schedule their mammogram appointments.
