Respirator Fit Testing Quantitative & Qualitative

A quantitative respirator fit test is conducted using a special machine to measure mask leakage without relying on chemicals or the sense of smell. A trained technician performs the test, assessing if refitting or a different mask size is needed for better results. Successful tests result in a passing record and an issued card. Prior to the fit test, an approved Medical Evaluation Questionnaire (MEQ) is necessary.
