Designed to support individuals with complex health conditions and developmental disabilities through highly individualized care. The program focuses on developing Activities of Daily Living (ADL) skills, enhancing social interaction, providing sensory stimulation, and promoting community integration. Each activity is adapted to meet the unique physical and cognitive needs of the persons served, with personalized training in areas such as feeding, toileting, and basic communication. Many participants are nonverbal and express themselves through alternative methods like sounds or eye contact, and MDS staff are trained to recognize and respond to each individual’s communication style, ensuring respectful and compassionate support tailored to their emotional and physical needs.
