Gallant Strides

Gallant Strides is a specialized program at Henry’s Home designed to support Veterans and Retired First Responders living with traumatic brain injuries (TBI) or physical disabilities. These challenges often impact mobility, cognitive function, and emotional well-being, requiring strength and adaptability in daily life. Through equine-assisted learning, participants engage with horses in ways that foster improved coordination, sharpened cognitive skills, and meaningful emotional healing. The unique bond formed with these gentle animals goes beyond traditional therapy, cultivating trust, patience, and deeper self-awareness while offering a holistic path toward resilience and renewal.
