Our yoga program invites children from Primary through Elementary to enjoy movement, mindfulness, and fun throughout the school year. Each class begins with gentle stretching that teaches the parts of the skeletal system, followed by the playful “strike a pose” segment where children practice grace, courtesy, and respect for one another. The lessons conclude with calming relaxation and a chance for each child to share their favorite part of the day. Yoga helps children feel centered, relaxed, and confident while also improving balance, coordination, and self-esteem.
