This foundational training in Motivational Interviewing is designed for peer recovery support workers and coaches, teaching evidence-based techniques to encourage positive behavior change while respecting the peer role. Across three sessions, participants earn 10 continuing education hours as they practice active listening, explore the spirit of motivational conversation, address ambivalence, and apply key OARS skills, including Open-Ended Questions, Affirmations, Reflective Listening, and Summarizing.
