There has been an increase in learning options for students globally. In the past, most students opted to study away from their state. However, with Covid, students no longer desire to study away from their hometown. Their ideal choice is an institution within their locality or digital learning platforms. This increased competition has resulted in a decline in student enrolment in colleges and institutions of higher learning, more so, the ones away from the state.
