Bikramish
Taking a loose approach to Bikram yoga, there will be no flows or chatarangas between postures. We will move from asana to asana one at a time in order to focus on body alignment. Holding each pose for several breaths, students are able to understand how the posture feels in their body and learn when it is appropriate to take a modification or deepen the posture. The series is based on using the breath to find ease in the mind while building strength, power, flexibility, balance, and an overall sense of calm. Class is performed in a hot room.
