Our Employment Services for Blind People or People with Vision Impairment, based at our Illinois location at 100 South Grand E, 1st Floor, Springfield, IL 62704, are dedicated to empowering individuals with visual impairments to fully participate in both professional and personal spheres. Through our Vocational Rehabilitation Program, individuals receive tailored support to secure employment or prepare for the workforce, including recommendations for assistive technology. Additionally, our Illinois Center for Rehabilitation and Education-Wood (ICRE-W) offers comprehensive vocational and independent skills training, while the Business Enterprise Program for the Blind (BEPB) provides management opportunities in the food service industry, enabling economic independence and career growth. Eligible Illinois residents can access these services at no cost, ensuring equitable access to opportunities for independence and fulfillment.
