About: Consign A Bubble We are a locally owned and operated resale boutique in Corvallis, Oregon, founded by two local moms, Lyndsey Zarfas and Josie Wolf. What began as a shared vision during the transition of ownership from Mother Goose Resale has grown into a vibrant business centered on sustainability, community, and connection. Since rebranding in March 2024, we've expanded our product offerings beyond children’s items to include adult apparel, furniture, U-Haul truck rentals, and local artisan goods. We are proud to be a trusted hub where community members can buy, consign and connect. Our mission is to make sustainable shopping simple, stylish, and accessible while giving back to our community. We believe in the power of giving. Unsold items or goods not suited for resale are donated weekly to local charities and families in need. As we continue to grow with plans for additional locations over the next five years—we are excited to welcome passionate, community-minded individuals to our team. About the Position: We are currently hiring a part-time Retail Sales Associate (10–15 hours per week, depending on business needs). This role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic, dependable, eager to learn, and enjoys working with people of all ages—including families with children. You do not need prior retail experience; we are happy to train the right candidate who aligns with our values and brings a positive attitude. Key Responsibilities: ● Process sales transactions accurately, including handling cash and credit card payments ● Greet and assist customers with a warm, welcoming attitude. ● Stock and organize inventory on the sales floor ● Create and print tags for inventory, then apply tags using a tagging gun ● Conduct brand research to support accurate and fair pricing of items ● Maintain a clean, safe, and inviting store environment ● Assist with sales events, promotions, and merchandising displays ● Learn and promote our store’s consignment policies and services ● Represent the brand in a professional and community-oriented manner in person and online ● Process sales transactions accurately, including handling cash and credit card payments Qualifications: ● High school diploma or equivalent ● Strong communication and interpersonal skills ● Ability to multitask and thrive in a dynamic retail environment ● Commitment to outstanding customer service ● Comfortable working around children and families ● Ability to effectively use social media and post content including themselves online for business advertisement and promotion ● Basic troubleshooting skills (e.g., for POS systems or printers). ● Retail experience is a plus, but not required ● Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply ● Availability to work some weekends and evenings What We Offer: ● Competitive hourly pay above minimum wage ● Employee discounts on merchandise ● Accrued sick leave. ● Monthly clothing allowance ● A supportive, team-oriented environment ● Opportunities for professional growth as the company expands
