Mold Maker-Machinist

Titan Manufacturing Inc. is currently looking for someone seeking a career in injection mold making.

Titan Manufacturing Inc., manufactures small and medium sized molds.  Our focus is micro to medium sized technical parts for a variety of industries.  All molds are manufactured in-house and used in our molding department.  Our molding machines range in size from 60-140 tons

Candidate Preferences:

-          Minimum of 4-years experience building molds.

-          Willingness and desire to learn and follow instructions, with a keen interest in mold making, which may out-weigh experience.

-          A positive attitude coupled with the desire to improve your skills is essential, with a mindset of quality over quantity.

-          Pride in your work output and achieving satisfaction from producing top quality results.

-          Ability to work independently and in a team, is required.

 Skills/Experience you (ideally) bring with you:

 -          CNC sinker EDM programming and use

-          Wire EDM

-          CNC milling (ideally small and midsize components)

-          High-speed milling

-          Experience with small cutters

-          Fit and assembly of molds

-          Polishing and surface grinding

-          An understanding of the mechanics of mold design; including lifters, slides, and cams.

-          Hydraulic cylinder use

-          Use of measuring tools

-          Hot runners

-          CAD

-          CAM programming

-          Electrode design and milling

-          CMM use

Titan is based in Summerland BC positioned in the Okanagan Valley (the center of wine country).  The area offers excellent outdoor activities including hiking, golfing, fishing, boating, skiing, rock climbing, cycling, as well as numerous beaches, brew pubs, wineries, and restaurants.  Winters are mild and summers are typically hot and dry.
